At Preferred Care Services, being independently owned and operated, our goal is to provide exceptional care for you or your loved one, with a high level of attention to detail, and to focus on your specific needs.
We are able to achieve this through a detailed consultation with our Director of Client Services. From these conversations we are able to determine which of our caregivers would be the best fit for your needs. Continuity of care is also important. We do not want to send you a revolving door of caregivers week to week. Rather we would develop a small cohesive team that is familiar with you and what your needs are. And finally we provide follow through check-ups. We want to make sure that you are satisfied with our services, and will work with you to make adjustments as your needs change.
We are here to help you!
Experience and Dedication
For over 25 years Preferred Care Services has been providing exemplary, customized care and assistance. As one of the oldest agencies, we have established Industry Standards for Quality Care. Our time honored ethical practice prioritizes Respect, Dignity, Trust, Honesty, Safety, and Compassion.
"Preferred Care Services is always The Agency that I will call when my clients need assistance. Preferred Care stands for professionalism, compassion, and integrity. They have never let me down. For their caregivers, this is not just a job but a calling"
(Geriatric Social Worker)
Our dedication to these principles is what defines our agency and differentiates us in the industry.
Trust and compassion are two words that come to mind when describing our Personal Care Assistants (PCA). The Process of selecting and individual for the position is comprehensive and thorough. Applicants must provide all required information and consent to a caregiver background check. In addition, we require consent for an independent data search company to conduct a nationwide background check.
All personal and employment references are contacted for verification, and at least two interviews are conducted with the Director of Client Services, while background information is being acquired and verified. What ultimately then determines employment eligibility, are the intangible characteristics that must be innate within a person: empathy, respect, trustworthiness, and compassion are essential. Once hired all employees are bonded and insured through the agency.
